It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or peddle any goods or merchandise within the Corporate limits of the city of Leon, Kansas unless he shall first have obtained from the city of Leon, Kansas a license to sell such goods. Provided however that all citizens of the city of Leon, Kansas shall be exempt from such tax.

The fee for all peddler’s license shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day or part thereof.

No peddlers license shall be issued until the amount prescribed therefore shall be paid to the city treasurer, Licenses shall be signed by the Mayor and the clerk and shall be counter signed by the Treasurer, and the clerk shall affix the corporate seal of the city thereto.
